Funny that you should post this now Alicia, I am currently reading his Science Fiction trilogy. I cannot believe I have never read it before. Perelandra is easily one of his best books. The dialog in that book is so articulate and spot-on. I find myself frustrated that I had never read it before.

AHHH, then we truly are related Jeremiah. He has been a father to me as well. Actually, more like a grandfather I think. I can't think of any other writer that has so vividly helped me to see the sweet tenderness and personal interest of our Father coupled with His fearful depth of power. To be embarrassingly honest, I have several times mourned, yes even cried, that he is not alive now, wishing so much that I could have been one of his pen pals. I have even prayed that God would bring someone like him into my life that I could learn from. I have tried to find someone at church, without luck. My next idea has been to hit the convalescent homes in the valley in search for an 80+ year old retired minister. But if you happen to know of any old geezers that are actually online (do they exist?) that would like to talk theology, let me know. I still don't know if I could find anyone with half his depth though. If not, I guess we'll both just have to wait until heaven to have our good discussion with Lewis.....although then, we'll have the Lord Himself!
