We can't even get saved without humility. To be saved we have to admit that we have nothing to offer and are completely dependent on the grace of God. Furthermore, until we admit that "in me, that is, in my flesh dwells no good thing" I can't understand that it is God who is working in me both to will, and to do. In other words, the only good things that come from me, come from "the Father of lights". I often share that humility is the MOST important attribute of a believer.
